"I have nothing but great things to say about the class. Good class size, and even though we were outside, i felt the dogs were safe as you and Galen and others were always watching out for them. The class was the perfect length too, as Alfie i think would've zoned out if was any longer. I think what i loved best was the personal one on one advice i received during the practice sessions. E.g. tips about body language and unique things about the Great pyr in general. Both you and Galen could really see what would motivate my Alfie (as it may be different for other dogs). I as well, loved that it was reward based and you didn't use corrections, as i find that's what i fall back on a lot. And lastly your PATIENCE and calm energy was tremendous.
Over the past four months since bringing Alfie home, i've had many occasions where, as a single person working full time, I feel that i've taken on more than i can handle with Alfie being my third dog. Your class and your weekly daycare have really helped in providing me with the tools and support I need to continue." Joan Churchill and Alfie, Mission BC |
"I have a fear reactive Great Dane... almost afraid of his own shadow...and AllStars K9 Training has supported my need to recondition my dog through the use of positive reinforcements and positive scenarios. It is not about training the dog, but rather training the owner to learn to communicate and interact with the dog. I feel that these professional dog trainers truly empower both the owners and the dogs. Thanks to their dedication Winston is becoming a much more confident dog, and was even able to successfully complete an obedience course! I highly recommend these trainers as they use science-based trust models, are friendly, professional, and are continually improving their canine knowledge to better serve our training needs. Thank you Allstars K9 Training!" Natasha Cox and Winston, Mission BC |
"The class size was good and the one-on-one attention was more than I expected; this allowed you to coach us in behavioural areas outside of what was currently being practiced e.g. addressing dog frustration during sit stay. I really appreciated the idea/reminder that communicating with our dog is a 2 way communication, not just "do as I say". The outdoors element of the training did not bother me at all, in fact, I think the location was perfect.
I have to admit that I actively promote you to other dog owners, whether they are friends, neighbours or strangers at Heritage park. I do this becauseI believe in you and I really appreciate the work that you are doing." Stephanie St Jean and Gracie, Mission BC |
"Stephanie, we took Tessa for her walk this am. She was soooo gooood. Madison walked her all the way with no trouble. We met people, she kept on going; we met a dog she had a sniff and we were on our way. Thank you so much. I hope that I am able to keep it up. She is amazing. You are very good at what you do. She has been a princess today, all day. It is like a different dog has come into my life. Thank you."

"I was very impressed that Stephanie took the time to visit us in our home before the classes started to evaluate our dog and us. I feel that this not only put our minds at ease, but made her more prepared in how best to help us get the most out of the lessons and our dog." "We are very pleased with the classes lots of attention, hands on help great tips about personal little troubles. Theres no more pulling on the leash, much calmer around other dogs sit & stay even around distractions. He's a happier dog, more settled." Gayle, Adrian & 'Toby' Gagner, Mission BC |
"We walk them around the lake and Wabi does not bother with anyone or anything as long as I am with her. I am so proud of her. People even remark about how she is. I tell them that she had some great training." "I am so proud of her, I can take her in pet stores and walk around the malls and she walks and pays no attention to other dogs that are aggressive. She just walks away." Linda Zaluska & 'Wabigon', Mission BC (About our Private Training!) |
"Stephanie has always had a great attitude when working with both people and dogs, and she's very helpful and informative. I would recommend Allstars to anyone with a dog looking for training that will be fun, and help them bond with their furry best friend."
