NEXT BASIC OBEDIENCE CLASS STARTS FEBRUARY 4th. See below for details!
Basic Obedience ( 8 sessions ) --> $175 ($15 discount for seniors and previous private obedience clients, $10 discount for recently rescued dogs)
Not your average obedience class! Learn to communicate more effectively with your dog, and keep his attention while working around other dogs, people, and distractions. We have small group classes (max. 6 people and dogs) with two certified trainers to coach and teach you how to teach your dog. Learn how to be an effective leader and gain compliance without the use of pain or fear! Discover what motivates your dog, and build a new link of understanding . Optional group field trip (usually hikes, or around town walks) during each program. Every graduate of the basic obedience group class has access to 'refresher' training sessions throughout the lifetime of the dog, and to our free monthly group session!
What this class covers:
o Loose leash walking
o Sit
o Down
o Come
o Stay (sit/stay and down/stay)
o Look (eye contact)
o Out (drop-it)
o Impulse control exercises
Mondays and Thursdays --> 6:00pm - 7:00pm --> First Day of Class TBA
Saturdays --> 10:00am - 11:00am --> First Day of Class February 4th
Proofing the Basics - Intermediate Obedience (10 sessions) -->$ 225 ($25 off when you sign up during the basic class!)
The next level, for dogs who have completed the group basic program and would like to continue their training! This class will focus on building even more of a bond with your canine companion, as we practice and work on proofing all of the skills taught in the basic program. We will also start some formal heelwork, for those students interested.
What this class covers:
o Sit/Stay, Down/Stay with heavier distraction, greater distance, and longer duration
o Recall (come) from heavier distraction, and a greater distance
o Formal 'Heel' for those interested
o Loose leash walking around heavier distraction
o Out from a greater distance
o More advanced impulse control games
o More advanced focus exercises

Right Here Rover! Recall Foundations Workshop ( 3 sessions ) --> $70 ($10 discount for seniors)
3 sessions to focus completely on strengthening your dogs recall, or starting it off on the right foot! This workshop will be great for young dogs who don't yet understand 'come', for dogs that choose to ignore or play 'keep away', and for dogs that percieve coming back as a negative thing. A fun, all positive way to teach your dog that coming when called is the best thing ever!

Clicking for Tricks Class ( 6 sessions ) --> $120 ($10 discount for seniors)
Looking for a fun class to take after basic obedience? Want to learn how to teach your dog some fun tricks to show off to family and friends? Clicking for tricks gives owners a fun way to provide extra mental stimulation during training sessions, and gives dogs a yet another reason to LOVE working with their owners! Learn the basics of clicker training, and how to 'mark' a behavior at the moment it happens - So that you can shape your dogs behavior into desired tricks and anything else you can think of! Each dog will learn at least 3 new tricks during this class!

o 'hup there (stand on hind legs)
