Board + Train OptionChoose a program based on the individual needs of your dog, combine programs, or contact us to create a customized program.
All board and train packages include our list of reccomendations and two 1hr sessions working with you, in order to teach you how to better communicate with the dog and keep up with the training! Obedience programs require a minimum of 6 sessions with the owner/handler after the dogs stay to transfer commands. It is extremely important to understand that if our guidelines for house rules, training and exercise are not followed when your dog is sent home, then behavioral problems may eventually return and the level of training will backslide. Please make sure you are dedicated to working with your dog as well - keeping a well mannered well trained dog requires daily upkeep and attention. Our Board and Train programs do not exist so that owners can send their dogs away and have a 'perfect pooch' returned. It does exist to lay a foundation of training, and create a unique set of reccommendations for rules, training games, and exercise along with detailing certain behaviors and responses your dog may provide and how to respond to them. Sometimes training can seem overwhelming at first, so a board and train program can give your dog the foundation that will speed up the process and give you the tools to speed up your own learning process! Basic Obedience Program
Includes basic obedience, and everyday inside and outside manners. Sit, Sit/Stay, Come, Down, Out (drop it) We get your dog started off on the right foot, and find out what motivates him to preform. Crate training optional. Extreme exercise provided daily. Behaviour Solutions Program This program is all about manners and solving those problem behaviours. Daily extreme exercise provided. Crate training optional. Socialization Program This program is for dogs that have trouble meeting other dogs because of under socialization, over-excitment and doggy rudeness, or fear reactions. Daily extreme exercise provided. Daily group dog walks and socialization sessions. Crate training optional. This option is available for dogs who are undersocialized but NOT currently showing dog aggression, and for dogs that do not have a bite history. (call for more info)   | Short-Term BoardingBoarding with a certified professional trainer means daily exercise and feeding routines, responsible handling, and reinforcement of manners while you are away.
We are not a kennel, dogs are kept in the heated basement rooms of our home (and in some cases upstairs with us!) overnight with dog beds and plenty of warm blankets. Or bring their crate or bed from home. Please bring collar with tags, a leash, enough of their usual food for the time boarding, any medications, and any toys you'd like to bring. Because we are not a kennel, space is limited. Contact to reserve well ahead of time. Rates can be seen below.
